The Human Rights Due Diligence Webinars websote is located at local global GmbH and the the edubiz unit of local global as a central contact point. The project is financed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The website supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) so that their economic success also contributes to sustainable development in developing and emerging countries.
loca global processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Personal data are for example name, address, e-mail addresses and user behaviour.
Personal data will be processed by local global only to the necessary extent. Which data is required and processed for which purpose and on what basis depends largely on the type of service you use or the purpose for which it is required.

When individual pages are called up, so-called temporary session cookies are used to facilitate navigation. – object to the storage of the data if personal data are processed based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f and e GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
– receive personal data in a common, machine-readable format from the person in charge, in order to have it forwarded to another person in charge, if necessary (Right to data transferability, Art. 20 GDPR).
– revoke your consent, provided that the processing of the data is based on consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR). The legality of the processing based on the consent given remains unaffected until receipt of the revocation.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible data protection supervisory authority. The responsible authority in this case is the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI).
